Benchmark AnTuTu has published a ranking of the performance of high-end and mid-range smartphones for the month of April. The list includes mostly smartphones of Chinese manufacturers, and in the leading positions are models on Snapdragon processors.
Here's What We Know
The top of the top echelon is dominated by smartphones on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Models with this chip occupy 7 positions. 4 of which are the first. The remaining 3 are held by devices based on MediaTek Dimensity 9300.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro takes the top spot with an average AnTuTu score of 2,120,210 points in April, followed by iQOO 12 with 2,090,252 points and RedMagic 9 Pro+ with 2,080,678 points. The vivo X Fold3 Pro ranks fourth, followed by the vivo X100 Pro, iQOO 12 Pro, iQOO Neo9 Pro, Oppo Find X7 Ultra, vivo X100 and OnePlus 12. All these phones have scored over 2 million points.
The mid-segment list is also a battle between Snapdragon and Dimensity processors. Here already most of the devices on chips from MediaTek, but in the leading positions are models on Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (first and second place) and on Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 (fourth and fifth place).
The OnePlus Ace 3V powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 came first with a score of 1,441,870 points. Right behind it is the Realme GT Neo 6 SE powered by the same processor with a score of 1,429,445 points. The third place went to Redmi K70e on Dimensity 8300-Ultra with a score of 1,378,953 points.
Next on the list are the Realme GT Neo 5 SE and Redmi Note 12 Turbo on Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, along with Oppo Reno 7 5G, iQOO Neo 7 SE, iQOO Z8 on Dimensity 8200 and Redmi Note 12T Pro on Dimensity 8200-Ultra. Rounding out the top ten is the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition on Dimensity 8100-Max.
It's important to note that the tests were conducted on devices for the Chinese market and the score therein is the average of all launches for each model, not the highest.
Also, devices on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip will soon appear in the mid-range rankings and it will be interesting to see how it performs compared to the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3.
