The Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will not have as many endings as the base game, - Miyazaki
FromSoftware is preparing to release the largest expansion to Elden Ring - Shadow of the Erdtree. The developers promise more than 10 new bosses and a huge new map that surpasses Limgrave in size, and director Hidetaka Miyazaki confirmed that this expansion will have fewer endings compared to the base game.
Here's What We Know
In a recent interview with zhuanlan-zhihu magazine, Miyazaki stated that although players will still have a lot of choices in Shadow of the Erdtree, it will not offer as many endings as the original Elden Ring game, namely six.
The executive also clarified that the storyline of the expansion will remain separate from the storyline of the base game.
When We Can Expect It
The release of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will be released on 21 June.
