Helldivers 2 creative director is impressed by the willpower of the game's community and grateful to PlayStation for the quick decision
On 6 May, it became known that Sony would not require PSN to be linked to play Helldiver 2 on PC. The situation around this was heatedly discussed for three days (and, let's be honest, it's still being discussed). But now the creative director of Helldivers 2 has commented on the situation.
Here's What We Know
Johan Pilestedt wrote a detailed commentary on Twitter about the situation around Helldivers 2 and the Steam account linking to PSN.
Firstly, I'm impressed with the willpower of the Helldiver 2 community and your ability to work together. Secondly, I want to thank our partners and friends at PlayStation for making the decision to make PSN linking optional so quickly and efficiently. Together, we want to set a new standard for what a game service is and how developers and the community can support each other to create the best possible gaming experience.
As a reminder, players have launched Operation Cleanup on Reddit. Its goal is to get Helldiver 2 back to a high rating on Steam. Currently, the game has only 50% of positive reviews, although a week ago this figure was about 80%.
Where To Play
Helldivers 2 is available on PC and PlayStation 5.

- The gg editorial team was satisfied with the game and gave it a 4.4/5 rating. This is an attraction that you want to return to again and again. Sometimes it's crazy, sometimes it makes you laugh, sometimes it's tense because of the number of enemies on the screen, but it's the range of emotions that we love games for.
