Google has released an update for Pixel Watch

Google has announced a security update for Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2 that will be available from May 2024.

Here's What We Know

This new version again strengthens the security of the devices ahead of the expected May update on Pixel phones.

Pixel Watch has now received a security update labelled "5 May 2024", which is based on Wear OS 4 and has the build number TWD9.240505.001.A1 for all four watch models.

The Pixel Watch changelog for May 2024 states that it only includes a monthly security update.

The next update will bring more features for users, such as Dynamic Colour or an expanded app grid.

How To Switch It On

Users can download the update by going to Settings > System > System update on their watch. In order to speed up the process, it is recommended that you turn off Bluetooth and use Wi-Fi to download.
