Google Messages debuts voice recorder redesign and expressive Voice Moods
Google has announced the widespread introduction of an updated voice recorder in its Messages app, as well as a new Voice Moods feature aimed at expanding the possibilities of interaction through voice messages.
Here's What We Know
Google Messages is starting to roll out Voice Moods and an updated noise-cancelling audio recording interface.
The new interface allows you to create voice messages faster by pressing the voice reminder button, as well as choose one of nine voice moods that add an animated emoji background to your voice message.
It is also worth noting that the sound quality of voice messages has been improved by increasing the bitrate and sample rate.
Although the Voice Moods beta is not yet available to all users, the updated voice recorder design can already be tested on all Android phones with the latest Google Messages beta installed.
