Over the past year, so much information about Nintendo's new console has surfaced online that despite the complete silence from the Japanese company, no one doubts its imminent release.

Finally, the company for the first time publicly mentioned the new gaming device.

Nintendo's Twitter page posted a message on behalf of the company's president, Shuntaro Furukawa, in which he officially confirmed that a new console, possibly called Nintendo Switch 2, will be presented to the public before the end of the current fiscal year (until 31 March 2025).
