Anduril Industries has unveiled its innovative Pulsar electronic warfare system, which is mounted on the ground, drones and ground vehicles
Anduril Industries has unveiled an advanced electronic warfare (EW) system, Pulsar, that effectively levels the capabilities of enemy drones.
Here's What We Know
Pulsar is a modular EW system that consists of multiple elements, is controlled by artificial intelligence and does not require long preparation for deployment.
Pulsar scans the space 360 degrees or in a given direction and suppresses small and medium-sized UAVs. Multiple devices can be networked together and with the help of AI and powerful processors, they will fight aerial threats in a coordinated manner over a large area.
Apart from the ground version, the Pulsar system is designed in several modifications:
- Pulsar-A - mounted on a UAV or aircraft;
- Pulsar-V - mounted on ground vehicles.
Thanks to its open architecture, Pulsar can be integrated into virtually any defence system, not only to effectively combat UAVs, but also to be used for electronic countermeasures, area scanning and target geolocation.
