Princess Peach: Showtime! sold 1.22 million copies, while Mario vs.
In a recent announcement hinting at the upcoming successor to the Nintendo Switch, the company also revealed sales figures for its hardware and software through 31 March 2024. This included data on recently released games such as Princess Peach: Showtime!" (released on 22 March) and "Mario vs. Donkey Kong" (released on 16 February).
Here's What We Know
"Princess Peach: Showtime!" has already sold 1.22 million units, which exceeds the figure of "Super Princess Peach" in 2005, the previous starring role for the iconic princess. "Super Princess Peach" sold 1.15 million copies on Nintendo DS in about 19 months.
"Mario vs. Donkey Kong" was released in 2004 and by 2021 had sold 1.37 million copies worldwide on Game Boy Advance. Can fans expect sequels to the game, such as "Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis", "Mario vs: Mini-Land Mayhem!" or even "Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars" on Nintendo Switch is still unknown.
