Mobvoi has unveiled the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro with a new strap, sapphire crystal and Wear OS on board for $349
Mobvoi announced the TicWatch Pro 5 smartwatch a year ago, and now the company has revealed its improved version.
Here's What We Know
The model was named TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro. The novelty received the same Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chip, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, a 628 mAh battery and the same 1.43-inch dual display.
As for the differences, they concern the body. It has become thinner (11.95mm vs 12.2mm). In addition, Mobvoi replaced the tempered Gorilla Glass with sapphire glass. Thanks to this, the screen of the novelty became more resistant to scratches. The watch frame is made of the same 7000-series aluminium and glass fibre nylon.
The TicWatchPro 5 used a silicone strap, but the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro received a 24mm Fluororubber strap, which should feel like the sports straps of the Pixel Watch and Apple Watch. The watch runs Wear OS 3, but the manufacturer is already testing a Wear OS 4 update for the device.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is already available for purchase. The price of the watch is unchanged at $349.99.
