On 13 May 2024, Vivo plans to unveil its new line of flagship smartphones, which will include the X100s, X100s Pro and the extremely powerful X100 Ultra.

Here's What We Know

Last month, it became known that the X100 Ultra is equipped with a Samsung ISOCELL HP9 200MP camera sensor. Now, a new leak reveals another key component supplied by Samsung.

According to a post on the Weibo platform by Experience More, the Vivo X100 Ultra will feature Samsung Display's E7 AMOLED display with a 2K resolution. It should be noted that the same series of displays is used in Google's Pixel 8 Pro and iQOO's 12 Pro smartphones.

In addition, the Vivo X100 Ultra is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, Vivo's own V3+ chip for image processing and will have a powerful 5500 mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging and 30W wireless charging.

The X100 Ultra will also feature three cameras on the back: a wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle and telephoto camera. Other expected specs include up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, as well as an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.

Pricing for the Vivo X100 Ultra is targeted at different user needs: the 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage model will cost 6,699 yuan ($927), the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage version will cost 7,499 yuan ($1,038), and the top-of-the-line 16GB RAM and 1TB storage model will be available for 8,499 yuan ($1,177).
