We are talking about three installations, which Germany will buy from the United States. This was told by Defence Minister Boris Pistorius during his visit to Washington. Unfortunately, there is no timeline for the delivery of the weapons yet.

Flashback

HIMARS is an American multiple rocket launcher. It is based on the US Army's five-tonne FMTV wheeled chassis. The MLRS can carry six rockets. The range of HIMARS M142 is from 2 to 500 kilometres (depends on the shells). By the way, the Ukrainian army now has about 20 HIMARS in service.
