Helldivers 2's creative director is trying his best to bring the game back to 177 countries, but there's no news yet

After Sony revealed that PC players would need to have a PSN account to play Helldivers 2 (a decision that has now been cancelled), the game was withdrawn from sale in 177 countries, as PSN is not officially available there. However, the developers are doing everything possible to return the game to these countries.

Here's What We Know

On the official Helldivers Discord server, Helldivers 2 creative director Johan Pilestedt wrote that, unfortunately, there is no news about the game's return to 177 countries.

I'm talking to our partners at Playstation and Valve and I'm pushing for this to be cancelled

Johan also noted that the decision to remove the PSN lock has cost him a lot of effort, but he is not going to stop in his quest to get the game back to more than 100 countries.

Where To Play

Helldivers 2 is available on PC and PlayStation 5. As a reminder, on 9 May, Helldivers 2 received the premium BattlePass "Polar Patriots", which adds new weapons, armour, and cosmetic items.
