Ukraine is in critical need of F-16 fighter jets to repel attacks by Russian occupiers.

In 2023, the United States and a number of European allies recognised the need to transfer the aircraft to Ukraine and began training Ukrainian pilots to fly the fighters.

The transfer of the F-16 Fighting Falcon has been repeatedly postponed and finally there is great news for Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

According to the authoritative British publication The Standard, an unnamed senior military official said that the first F-16s will arrive in Ukraine "within a few weeks."

The interlocutor did not specify in what quantity and from which country the aircraft will be delivered, but we would like to remind you that Belgium, Holland, Sweden and Norway have announced the delivery of F-16s to Ukraine.

As we have already reported, the Netherlands has promised to deliver 24 F-16s to Ukraine, the first batch of which will arrive this summer.
