A couple of days ago, Samsung released the May security update for the new flagship Galaxy S24 lineup on AT&T and T-Mobile cellular networks, in the US. Now it has been revealed that the new update has arrived in the European region as well.

Here's What We Know

Samsung has started distributing the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra security update for May 2024 in all European countries. The update comes with firmware version S92xBXXS2AXD6, with a download size of around 300MB for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ and over 400MB for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Samsung said that the May 2024 security update fixes 45 security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy devices. These vulnerabilities are found in previous versions of the software. Since this update is solely a security patch, it does not include new features or performance improvements.

It is reported that the company will soon release an update that will improve the photo and video quality of the Galaxy S24 lineup. It is expected in June.
