Google Messages will hide messages from blocked contacts
Google Messages is preparing to introduce a new convenient feature that will provide more privacy for users.
Here's What We Know
According to Android Authority, the beta version of the app now has the ability to automatically hide messages from blocked contacts in group chats.
This feature, which is currently available only in the beta version, allows users to block contacts and not receive messages from them in group chats. However, blocked individuals can still send messages to the group, but they will not be visible to the user who blocked them.
The option provides more privacy and avoids unwanted messages from certain contacts without having to leave group chats entirely.
It is not yet known when the update will be available in the stable version of Google Messages.
