UK Ministry of Defence announces the largest ever aid package to Ukraine

The United Kingdom has announced the largest ever military aid package for Ukraine, amounting to £500 million.

This was reported by the British Ministry of Defence on Twitter(X).

As part of this package, Ukraine received 4 million rounds of ammunition, more than 1,600 missiles and 400 vehicles, including 160 Husky vehicles.

The UK is expected to provide a further £500 million in immediate funding, including for air defence and drones, bringing the total amount of aid this year to £3 billion.

French President Emmanuel Macron also confirmed that the European Union is considering increasing assistance to Ukraine, including the delivery of additional military equipment in the coming weeks.
