An insider has revealed the first plot details of Pragmata, Capcom's most mysterious action game yet
The announcement of Capcom's mysterious sci-fi action game Pragmata took place in 2020 and since then the Japanese developer has revealed almost no details about the game, limiting itself to a couple of silent trailers.
Finally, thanks to an insider, at least the exposition and plot twist of Pragmata became known.
Here's What We Know
According to the authoritative insider Dusk Golem in his Discord channel, the plot of Pragmata will tell about two robots who are stuck on a lunar colony and want to return to Earth, but no one is waiting for them there.
According to Dusk Golem, the game's backstory tells us that humanity built a station on the moon, but robots run by artificial intelligence rebelled, took over and kicked their creators off the moon. After that people disconnected all communication lines with the colony and tried to forget about the incident, but the robots, which in the process of evolution have become indistinguishably similar to humans, will not allow to ignore the fact of their existence and will try to return to Earth.
Of course, it's hard to judge the relevance of Dusk Golem's information, but judging by the trailers, this is roughly the story that Pragmata players are waiting for.
When We Can Expect It
Pragmata release was postponed several times: the game was planned to be released in 2022, then in 2023. And recently in the network appeared, allegedly, the approximate schedule of releases Capcom and it was indicated that Pragmata will be released in 2026.
