HomePod and HomePod mini users have started receiving a new version of the software

Apple has released a new system update for owners of the HomePod and HomePod mini smart speakers. The firmware comes two months after the release of update 17.4.

The new software version is numbered 17.5 and it has already started rolling out to devices around the world in waves.

Unfortunately, Apple does not disclose a detailed list of system changes. It is only known that the company's developers have fixed bugs and worked on optimising the software.

By the way, besides the HomePod 17.5 update, Apple also released new software versions for iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV.
