And this is the game you've been waiting 20 years for? Gamers criticised Homeworld 3 space strategy game for its boring plot and too simple gameplay
Homeworld 3, the space strategy game that fans of the series have been waiting for 20 years, has been released.
Critics were satisfied with the game and gave it high marks, but gamers were not so favourable to the continuation of Homeworld.
Here's What We Know
Steam users left mixed reviews about the long-awaited game.
In their opinion, Homeworld 3 is not a bad space strategy, but it does not reach the level of the previous parts. Players believe that it has a weak plot, too simplified mechanics, few significant innovations, frankly stupid artificial intelligence and small maps that do not allow you to feel the scale of space battles.
Perhaps, Blackbird Interactive studio will be able to fix most of the shortcomings in Homeworld 3 with patches and DLC. The developers have published a development plan for the game, and two of the three paid add-ons and several major updates are scheduled for release in 2024.
In the meantime, the developers have unveiled the Homeworld 3 release trailer, which shows what awaits players in this strategy game.
Homeworld 3 is available on Steam and EGS.
