Analyst Daniel Ahmad said that 4.5 million PlayStation 5 units were shipped in the last quarter. According to Daniel's estimates, this is almost 5 times more than Xbox Series X|S in the same period. That is, Xbox Series shipped less than 1 million units between January and March 2024, which was the last quarter of fiscal 2023.

And given the news that Xbox is closing studios, the situation in Microsoft's gaming division is many times more pessimistic than that of its competitors at Sony.
