Honor launches Android 15 beta testing on Magic6 Pro and Magic V2
Honor has announced the launch of Android 15 Beta testing on its Magic6 Pro and foldable Magic V2 smartphones. This gives developers a chance to test the performance of their apps on the new version of the operating system.
Here's What We Know
Android 15 offers improved control in a more secure device environment. The OS features an SDK sandbox that allows services such as adverts to run in an isolated environment, preventing third-party apps from collecting sensitive information and users' personal data. An improved privacy indicator has also been introduced, which provides a new permission management portal, allowing users to stay up to date on the status of their privacy protection.
Honor said it will actively support developers in testing, adapting and optimising their apps on Magic6 Pro and Magic V2 in the next Android 15 Beta update, expected this summer.
