The protagonist of the Korean series Squid's Game has announced that the long-awaited second season will be released in December on Netflix
We knew that the premiere of the second season of the Korean TV series Squid Game would take place in 2024, but there was no approximate date for the premiere. However, thanks to one of the series' actors, the situation has been clarified.
Here's What We Know
Lee Jung-jae, who plays one of the main characters, Seong Gi-hun, said on the Disney Upfronts red carpet that the series will be released in December.
Back in February, the series' authors separately published a 17-second teaser in which the protagonist talks to a mysterious person on the phone and promises to find him, probably to take revenge for what happened to other participants and his friends in the previous game.
The first season told the story of a large group of people who had debts and could pay them off if they survived deadly survival games. The series received 95% freshness from critics and 84% from viewers on RottenTomatoes. As in the first season, Hwang Dong-hyuk will direct and executive produce the series.
