OpenAI has announced a new partnership with Reddit that will allow their chatbot, ChatGPT, to use content from this popular online forum for training.

Here's What We Know

The agreement provides OpenAI with access to Reddit's API to fetch structured and unique content in real-time. This will allow ChatGPT to understand and generate content based on the most recent Reddit topics.

Reddit did not disclose whether its data will be used to train OpenAI models. However, it confirmed that the deal will expand the platform's content coverage and prepare for new AI-based features for Reddit users and forum moderators.

OpenAI will also become an advertising partner of Reddit, intensifying the competition in the field of searching for the latest events and topics between ChatGPT and Google.
