Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release in autumn 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series: Rockstar will announce the exact date later
For some time, rumours have been circulating that Grand Theft Auto VI might be postponed, but thanks to Take-Two Interactive's Q4 and full-year 2024 financial report, it becomes clear that these rumours should not be believed.
Here's What We Know
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said that Grand Theft Auto VI is planned to be released in autumn 2025.
Take-Two is not ready to name a more specific release date for GTA VI. In an interview with Variety, Strauss said: "I think we'll leave that question open for now. The announcement will come from Rockstar and will be in line with how they are promoting the game."
We would like to remind you that the game will take place in Vault City. We will meet two protagonists: Lucia and Jason, who are active participants in the criminal world. The last time a female protagonist was available was in the first part of GTA.
The game will be released first on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, and then on PC (no exact information is available).
