The media revealed the exact release date of the new Call of Duty installment and said that the game will immediately appear in the Game Pass catalogue
More and more information about the yet unannounced part of Call of Duty, which is rumoured to be dedicated to the Persian Gulf War 1990-1991.
Here's What We Know
Two sources have shared important information about the game, which is believed to be called Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War or Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
According to The Verge editor Tom Warren, Activision plans to release the shooter on 25 October 2024. This date looks realistic, as Call of Duty games are released in late October or early November, and there is nothing to indicate that the developers will interrupt this tradition.
The Wall Street Journal expanded on the information and reported that Microsoft and Activision executives plan to add the game to the Game Pass catalogue on release day, so PC and Xbox users will be able to get access to the shooter not for $70, but for just $11, paying only for a subscription.
It is reported that this will be the first Call of Duty game to be added to the Game Pass catalogue.
This information is not surprising, as Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard for almost $70 billion for the sake of CoD's appearance in Game Pass.
