Samsung is gearing up to launch a new laptop in the Galaxy Book 4 series, the Galaxy Book 4 Edge. This is the company's first Galaxy Book with Snapdragon X Elite processor. Specifications and images of this laptop model were revealed by WinFuture portal.

Here's What We Know

The Galaxy Book 4 Edge is available in two screen size options: 14 and 16 inches. The 16-inch screen model is called Galaxy Book 4 Edge Pro and features a Snapdragon X Elite processor, a full-size keyboard, additional ports and a larger battery. The model has two USB Type-C ports (likely USB 4.0), a USB Type-A port, an HDMI port and a microSD card slot.

The younger model is powered by a processor from the lower end of the Snapdragon X lineup. It has two USB Type-C ports (probably USB 4.0), an HDMI port and a keyboard without a number pad.

Both laptops have 3K resolution AMOLED screens with 400 nits of brightness, backlit keys and large touchpads, as well as 3.5mm headphone jacks.

Both models run on Windows 11, have a dedicated Microsoft Copilot key and are available in silver colour. Details about the webcam and storage capacity of these laptops are not yet known.

According to the leak, the Galaxy Book 4 Edge will have a starting price of around $1800, while the Pro model will cost more. These laptops are expected to be extremely energy efficient and the battery life could be the same as Apple's latest MacBooks.
