Samsung introduces Relumino mode for Galaxy S24
Samsung has announced the expansion of its innovative Relumino mode to its flagship Galaxy S24 series smartphones. This mode, which was initially only available on the company's smart TVs, is designed to make it easier for visually impaired people to view content.
Here's What We Know
Introduced in January 2023, Relumino Mode reproduces content on the smartphone screen with increased contrast and clarity to make it more accessible to people with low vision. According to Samsung, this technology improves the sharpness of images and makes it easy to distinguish details on the screen so that users can enjoy a variety of content, from sports events to news.
Furthermore, Samsung emphasises that the development of Relumino Mode was the result of collaboration with visually impaired consultants, researchers and engineers to create an inclusive visual experience for all users.
Following its successful introduction on Samsung TVs, Relumino Mode will now be available on the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series of smartphones.
