Apple won't update the Mac Studio and Mac Pro until next year

In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman shared an update on Apple's plans for new products.

According to Mark, Apple has no plans to release new Mac Studio and Mac Pro models this year. We should expect an update only in the middle of 2025.

The last time Apple updated the Mac Studio and Mac Pro with M2-series chips was at WWDC in 2023. There seems to be no need for an annual update for these devices. Although the company recently introduced the M4 chip, the Mac Studio and Mac Pro won't be getting it just yet - at least not this year.

All other Macs, with the exception of the MacBook Air, should be available with M4-series chips by the end of 2024.
