Huawei and Changan presented a new electric sedan Deepal L07
Huawei and Changan have launched the new Deepal L07 electric sedan, which combines advanced technology with elegant design. This model is available in two configurations: all-electric (EV) and extended range electric (EREV).
Here's What We Know
The L07 boasts Huawei's advanced intelligent driving system. The partnership between Huawei and Changan was the result of a cooperation agreement signed in November 2023, which included the development of such systems.
The Deepal L07 combines a curved front end with distinctive full-width taillights that are illuminated by the Deepal logo. The electrically operated rear wing adds to the sophistication.
The L07 measures 4.87m long, 1.89m wide and 1.48m high, making it slightly longer than the SL03. The wheelbase remains unchanged at 2.9 m, and the kerb weight varies from 1,865 kg to 1,880 kg depending on the model.
The EV version of the L07 is equipped with a powerful 185 kW electric motor, which provides fast acceleration and excellent performance. The EREV model combines a 1.5-litre 72 kW petrol engine with a 160 kW electric motor for an extended range and reduced emissions.
Both versions use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, which are known for their lower cost, durability and safety.
Official prices for the Deepal L07 have not yet been announced.
