Intel Copilot+ computers will be available this autumn
Following the release of the first Copilot+ PCs powered by Qualcomm processors, Intel has announced the readiness of its own devices. In the third quarter of 2024, the company will introduce its Lunar Lake chips that will support all the functions of Copilot+ artificial intelligence.
Here's What We Know
According to Intel, more than 80 new laptops from more than 20 partners will start shipping to users. These computers will receive software updates with new features, such as Recall and Cocreator, which will expand user capabilities.
Lunar Lake's AI performance will be three times faster than current Meteor Lake models, with support for more than 40 trillion NPU operations per second (TOPS).
The partnership with Microsoft is also highlighted, notably through the Copilot+ collaboration.
