Lenovo unveils two laptops based on Snapdragon X Elite ARM processor with Copilot+ support

Lenovo has introduced two new generation laptops: Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s Gen 6. They feature Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processors based on ARM architecture and support for Mircosoft's Copilot+ generative artificial intelligence built into a special version of Windows 11. Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x is positioned as a laptop for people in creative professions, and Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 is designed for employees in the corporate market.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor has a 12-core Oryon central processing unit, Adreno graphics processor and Hexagon neural processor. It delivers performance of up to 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS). The Snapdragon X Elite is based on ARM architecture, which ensures high performance and long battery life (traditionally known as energy efficiency). The latest improvements to Microsoft and Copilot+ allow users of Windows laptops with ARM processors to use the Large Language Model (LLM) even without an internet connection.

The FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) infrared webcam with Mobile Industrial Processor Interface (MIPI) provides a clearer image during video calls and has four Voice ID microphones for the most accurate call transmission. Audio is realistically clear with the Lenovo Premium Suite four-speaker sound system. The Premium Suite keyboard has 1.5 mm of travel on each key. Yoga's greaseproof coating enhances the typing experience, and the trackpad, which measures up to 135x80 mm, provides greater precision on the go.
