Milestone: Monster Jam Showdown will launch on 29 August on PlayStation, Xbox and Switch

Milestone has announced that its new racing game Monster Jam Showdown will launch on 29 August and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. Players who pre-order the game will get early access to it on 26 August.

Monster Jam Showdown offers a variety of game modes, including freestyle and off-road racing. The game has a career mode called Showdown Tour, described as "non-linear", which allows players to choose from events that take place in biomes inspired by Death Valley, Colorado, and Alaska.

Players can perform a variety of extreme stunts on monster trucks such as bikes, wheels and donuts in levels based on real stadiums and themed environments.

For fans of multiplayer, Monster Jam Showdown includes both split-screen and online play.
