Honor plans to release a foldable phone with a huge external screen and a powerful battery

As reported earlier, Honor will unveil the Honor 200 series of smartphones on 27 May, in China, while the Honor Magic V Flip is expected to be unveiled in June. According to rumours, the Magic V Flip could get the largest external display in the market.

A well-known Chinese insider Digital Chat Station has shared an image of the Honor Magic V Flip's external display case. According to him, the entire top of the device's back panel is just a bezel, indicating a really large external screen. Honor's supply chain is reportedly currently procuring the largest external screen in the small foldable device industry.

Below is a mockup of the alleged Magic V Flip, where you can see the huge external display and round camera module. According to rumours, the Magic V Flip will feature a dual-cell 4,500mAh battery. However, other specifications of the phone remain unknown. It is also rumoured that it will be the thinnest and lightest foldable Flip style phone.

The Magic Flip is likely to face competition from the Xiaomi Mix Flip, which might be released around the same time. In addition, it will also compete with the Galaxy Flip 6, which is expected to be unveiled in July.
