Battlefield 2042 will launch the Future Strike event next week, which will briefly introduce a Counter-Strike-like mode to the game
Electronic Arts and DICE studio presented a trailer of the next event, which will take place in the online shooter Battlefield 2042.

The event is called "Future Strike" (Future Strike) and will take place from 28 May to 11 June.
Battlefield 2042 will temporarily introduce Strike Team mode, in which players must split into small squads and achieve victory on 11 maps by destroying enemies or holding on to occupied territories.
Gamers will also receive special cosmetic items for winning matches.
In the comments under the video gamers noted that the gameplay Battlefield 2042 in Strike Team mode resembles a match in Counter-Strike and expressed doubt that this format will be appropriate in the shooter from DICE.
Recall that the seventh season will be the last for Battlefield 2042, support for the game will continue, but there will be no more seasonal updates. Instead, the Electronic Arts team will focus on the full production of the next Battlefield instalment.
