Google's Android app now has a handy Notifications tab
Earlier this year, Google added a notifications section to the mobile version of the Google search website. Now, the company has applied the same innovation to the Google Android app.
Here's What We Know
In the latest beta version of the Google Android app (version 15.20), a Notifications tab has been added to the bottom bar.
This tab contains all the notifications that the app sends, including weather, sports scores, flight information, movies and TV shows, word of the day, and more. Each notification has an icon with three dots, and when you tap on it, you will see three options: "Delete", "Do not receive similar notifications" and "Send feedback".
Google is rolling out the update to a limited number of users. The company is expected to make it more widely available over the next few days.
Google plans to make the new feature public over the next few months after thorough testing in the beta version of the programme.
