No one is forgotten: Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 looks set to be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4
After many months of various leaks and speculations, Microsoft and Activision have finally announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and although the full presentation will take place next month, some details of the launch have appeared earlier.
Here's What We Know
It seems that the game will be released for different generations. Reddit user @charlieINTEL reported on Twitter that GameStop has pre-order lists for the game with versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 4. Insider Gaming confirmed this information
While Call of Duty games are often released as cross-gen titles, many expected that support for previous-gen consoles would be discontinued now, almost four years after the release of the new generation, to fully utilise the capabilities of the new hardware.
The global presentation of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is scheduled for 9 June, with a special live presentation following the Xbox Games Showcase. The game is rumoured to be released in October.
