The first leaks about the Redmi Note 14 Pro have surfaced
Xiaomi has been updating its Redmi Note line of smartphones every year. After launching the Redmi Note 13 in September 2023, it's no surprise that the company is already working on its successor - the Redmi Note 14 series. And now some early details about the upcoming smartphones have come to light.
Here's What We Know
According to a leak from a Digital Chat Station insider on Chinese social media platform Weibo, the focus of the Redmi Note 14 series might be on camera capabilities and stylish design. One of the phones in the line-up, according to the insider, will get a 1.5K AMOLED display with a high refresh rate. The processor for this device will be Qualcomm SM7635, commercially known as Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Although the insider hasn't named the device, but based on the specs it is likely to be the Redmi Note 14 Pro, the successor to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2-powered Redmi Note 13 Pro.
The leak also hints at a long-lasting battery, possibly with a 5,000mAh capacity or even higher. An official release date is still unknown, but judging by Xiaomi's past strategies, the Redmi Note 14 Pro and other models in the series could arrive in the Chinese market in autumn 2024. In the global market, the new models may have to wait until early 2025.
It's important to remember that this is just a leak and Xiaomi hasn't confirmed any details about the Redmi Note 14 series yet. We will have to wait for official announcements or additional leaks to get a clearer picture of the upcoming smartphones.
