Google Messages is testing a new flat app drawer and updated contact colours
Google Messages may receive significant visual changes. According to the latest observations, it has been revealed that the application bar in the messenger has been tested for a possible "flat" design change, and the contact colours have been updated.
Here's What We Know
One of the key changes is the flat application bar, which makes the interface more consistent. The app drawer now has the same background as the message list, creating a smooth, almost two-dimensional look.
In addition, there is an update to the contact colours. Now, if contacts do not have a profile photo, they are displayed with their first initial on a coloured background.
It's worth noting that some of these innovations may only be available to users with the beta version of the app.
