TinyPod is a device that turns your Apple Watch into an iPhone and iPod. Why?
It seems that lately it has become fashionable to come up with some new gadgets and form factors to replace the classic smartphone. One of them is a device called TinyPod.
Details
It is a special case for the "capsule" of the Apple Watch smartwatch (without a strap), which turns it into a kind of a mixture of iPhone and iPod. On it you can listen to music, watch notifications, take calls, but don't spend much time on apps and social networks, as most of these services don't exist or don't work properly in watchOS.
Instead of the Digital Crown, a wheel is used for navigation, just like the iPod did back in the day.
However, the main idea of smartwatches is lost, as they will not be able to monitor the activity and health of the user.
In any case, so far there is not much information about TinyPod. The official presentation will take place in June, and then we will learn all the details about the device.
