The Ukrainian Armed Forces have recently repelled seven enemy attacks, demonstrating their effectiveness in destroying attack drones: on the night of 26 May, as a result of enemy fire from 45 aerial targets, almost all were shot down.

Here's What We Know

Among them are 14 air-launched missiles, including two Kh-47M2 Kinzhal air-to-air missiles, which were fired from MiG-31K aircraft from the airspace of Tambov region, and 12 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, which were launched from Tu-95MS from the airspace of Saratov region.

Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk announced the successful destruction of all Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles launched by the enemy using air defence. In addition, the enemy used 31 Shahed drones for nighttime attacks, which came from three different areas: Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Yeysk in Russia, and Cape Chauda in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Ukrainian air defence units successfully destroyed enemy targets in nine regions using anti-aircraft missile units, mobile groups and aircraft, as well as electronic warfare.

This latest series of attacks demonstrates the high effectiveness of air defence in destroying the Shahed. And in the last seven attacks, the Russian occupation forces have launched 183 attack UAVs, of which 182 were destroyed, which is almost 100% successful.
