Sony has a new partner: Turkish studio Shadowfall will develop an unusual role-playing game for PlayStation 5 in the setting of Turkic mythology
Sony not only releases dozens of games from its own internal studios, but also actively engages third-party developers.
A striking example of such collaboration is the action game Stellar Blade from the Korean studio Shift Up, which became one of the main hits of the first half of 2024.
Perhaps no less productive and significant will be the cooperation with the Turkish studio Shadowfall.
Here's What We Know
Developers from Shadowfall Studios have announced that they have partnered with Sony.
The studio has already started active development of Project Daeron, a role-playing game based on Turkic mythology that will offer gamers a deep and multifaceted combat system and advanced abilities to create unique spells.
Another feature of Project Daeron will be an unusual style of narration, which will be conducted not on behalf of the protagonist, but from the antagonist.
The developers promise a lot of plot twists and turns, as well as meetings with shamans and even gods.
No release date for Project Daeron has been announced yet, obviously it won't be for a while yet. The game will be a PlayStation console exclusive at the very least.
