The developers of the fantasy strategy game Songs of Conquest have announced four story DLCs and the massive expansion Bleak East. Sales of the game exceeded 500 thousand copies
Last week, the fantasy strategy game Songs of Conquest, which is the spiritual successor of the cult game Heroes of Might and Magic 3, was released from early access.
The developers from Lavapotion Studios announced some important news.
Here's What We Know
Firstly, the game designers thanked the public for their interest in their game and reported that its total sales exceeded 500 thousand copies, which is a great indicator for an indie game that has just been released in full.
Secondly, the developers revealed that a massive post-release support is in store for Songs of Conquest. Over the next year, the game will release four add-ons, collectively called Tales of Conquest, which will be released quarterly. The first of them Rise Eternal will be available in autumn and will be dedicated to the undead.
The second DLC Essence Awakened will be released in December and will focus on Essence in the world of Aerbor. The other two DLCs will be released in the second half of 2025.
In addition, Lavapotion Studios plans to release the massive Bleak East expansion in early summer 2025, which will add two new factions: Vanir and Roots and an additional story campaign. Details of this expansion will be revealed at a later date.
At the moment Songs of Conquest is available only on PC, but the developers are already working on porting the game to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
