The Vivo X200 series, which has yet to be officially unveiled, is already generating a lot of interest. The source claims that these particular smartphones will be the first owners of the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset.

Here's What We Know

Insider Smart Pikachu has reported that the Vivo X200 series of smartphones will be the first to come out with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. Vivo has already been the first to use Dimensity 9300 in the X100 and X100 Pro, as well as the new Dimensity 9300 Plus chip in the X100s and X100s Pro smartphones.

Competing with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, the Dimensity 9400 promises impressive performance by utilising ARM's flagship Cortex-X5 core. While official benchmarks are not yet available, there are reports that the new chipset will surpass the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in terms of IPC performance.

In addition, the informant mentioned that there will be no S-series models in the X200 series, which means no direct successors to the X100s and X100s Pro.

While details about the Vivo X200 specs are being kept secret for now, it is already known that the release is scheduled for October. The Oppo Find X8 with the same chipset is expected to be announced in the same month, as well as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4-based Xiaomi 15, which promises an interesting rivalry in the market.
