Dimensity 7050 successors: MediaTek unveiled the Dimensity 7300 and Dimensity 7300X processors
MediaTek held an event where it showed off its Dimensity 7300 line of processors.
Here's What We Know
The new series includes two chips: the Dimensity 7300 and the Dimensity 7300X. The processors have almost identical specifications. The only difference is that Dimensity 7300X supports two displays. Such a chip will be used only folding devices.
Novelties are built on a 4-nanometre process. Chips received 4 cores Cortex-A78 with a clock speed of 2.5 GHz and four cores Cortex-A55. Compared to the Dimensity 7050, the new products are more power efficient and more productive. Both SoCs have Mali-G615 GPU graphics and MediaTek HyperEngine for gaming. The processors support Bluetooth LE Audio, 5G and cameras with up to 200 MP resolution.
When We Can Expect It
Unfortunately, MediaTek didn't reveal when devices with the new chips will appear on the market, but if rumours are to be believed, one of the first smartphones with the Dimensity 7300X chip will be the Motorola Razr 50. The gadget is expected to be released this summer.
