Galaxy Quantum 2 received the latest One UI 6.1 update
In 2021, Samsung released the Galaxy Quantum 2 with One UI 3.0 based on Android 11. At the time, the brand promised to offer three new versions of the OS for the smartphone, and last year it released the third and latest version of the OS (One UI 6.0 based on Android 14). Now the tech giant is launching the latest One UI update for the phone.
Here's What We Know
Samsung has released One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy Quantum 2 in South Korea (for the SM-A826S model). The software update that brings One UI 6.1 to the Galaxy Quantum 2 changes the phone's firmware version to A826SKSU5GXE1.
How To Switch It On
To get the new software, go to Settings, Software Update, Download & Install. After this update, your phone will only receive security patches until 2025.
One UI 6.1 brings many new features to the Galaxy Quantum 2. These include new image and video editing capabilities, new ways to customise your phone's wallpaper and user interface, more data and battery protection features, additional options for managing your health, and ways to communicate with people through calls and messages.
One UI 6.1 for Galaxy Quantum 2 does not include Galaxy AI.
