Google Discover and Google News are not working

Google News and Google Discover are experiencing a major outage. This is likely to affect the flow of information that delivers new content to Google News and related services such as Google Discover and the Discover channel in Google Chrome. As a result, all of these services will be unable to deliver new content.

Here's What We Know

Google Discover is a key component of delivering timely content to Android users, located to the left of the home screen and filled with news. Google Discover contains content that coincides with Google News, which can be accessed through a dedicated tab in Google Search on a mobile device or on the web.

The outage also affected the Google Discover homepage, which no longer displays news content, but instead features commercial offers such as shopping items. The News tab on Google, which usually displays news content, no longer shows results for queries.
