Samsung will stop supporting Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Watch Active and Galaxy Watch Active 2 smartwatches running on Tizen
Samsung has announced the start of the process of discontinuing support for Tizen watches.

This means that users of older models, such as Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Watch Active, and Galaxy Watch Active 2, will face limitations in functionality and access to applications.
One of the main changes is the discontinuation of the Galaxy Store for Tizen smartwatches.
According to the schedule published by Reddit user Seaweed_Maximum, the sale of paid content for Tizen watches will be stopped by 30 September 2024. By 31 May 2025, the possibility of downloading free applications will cease altogether.
According to Samsung's announcement, this action applies to Samsung Gear watches and all Galaxy models running on Tizen. It will not affect newer models that run on Wear OS.
