YouTube Music now remembers users' music queue
YouTube Music goes beyond traditional music services and introduces a new convenient update for its users. Now the web version of the platform remembers your last song and playlist even after you restart.
Here's What We Know
Previously, when closing the music tab, users faced the loss of the mini-player and information about the last song they listened to. But now, thanks to this update, YouTube Music works in a similar way to mobile apps for Android and iOS.
This change will allow you to continue listening instantly, even after restarting your device or browser. The Up Next music queue now remains unchanged, including albums and playlists.
However, in the case of podcasts, users may experience some unusual behaviour. Although the episodes are remembered, they start from the beginning instead of continuing from where you last listened. This can be a disadvantage, especially for shows. The issue is likely to be fixed in future updates.
