FIFA's president has confirmed that a football simulator from a new developer is in development
In 2022, the International Football Federation (FIFA) broke the contract with Electronic Arts, which for more than twenty years produced football simulators under the brand of this organisation.
Almost immediately after this event, insiders and analysts reported that fans of virtual football will not be left without new games from FIFA.
Here's What We Know
FIFA President Gianni Infantino almost at the moment of parting with EA said that the sports organisation does not intend to refuse to release games under its own label.
Now the head of Federation Internationale de Football Association has confirmed that an unnamed studio is already working on a new football simulator.
When people play a football simulator, they are playing FIFA. You can't call it any other way. We are developing with new partners a new game, which obviously, like everything we do, will be the best.
Infantino did not specify who became the new FIFA partner, but game analysts are sure that Electronic Arts will be replaced by 2K Games, the author of popular sports simulators.
