It's official: the next game from Toys for Bob - the studio behind Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time and the Spyro remakes - is being developed in collaboration with Xbox
At the beginning of spring it became known that Toys for Bob studio - the author of excellent Crash Bandicoot and Spyro remakes - separated from Activision and became an independent company.
This decision was made shortly after Activision became a part of Microsoft, and was dictated by the desire of Toys for Bob to develop their own games, not to support Call of Duty: Warzone, as Activision insisted.
Here's What We Know
Toys for Bob and Activision parted friends and the developer of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time immediately stated that he didn't rule out further co-operation with Activision and Microsoft.
Now Toys for Bob has officially confirmed that the Xbox division will publish its new game.
What this project - which is still in early production - is about, the studio isn't revealing. Indirect signs and insider information indicate that it will be a new Crash Bandicoot instalment.
